Paddle Round the Pier
This year we have been once again lucky enough to display our goods at the brilliant Paddle Round the Pier Festival.
This Brighton Beach Charity event which started in 1996 with a total of 50 people attending has grown to the event it is total, being regarded as the world’s largest free charity beach event with 50,000+ people attending!
Many events take place over the two days, in the water and out, and the ‘paddle village’ comprises of exhibitors, 3 entertainment stages and many delicious caterers. Money raised go towards charities which are publicly nominated each year. This year the charities supported were:
Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club (SLSC)
Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)

Thank you also to Delightfully Lavish Events for their tent which helped to make our furniture look right at home!

TRIP TO INDIA
It’s that time of year again so we are shortly heading off to India to meet with our good friends and select some new pieces for the shop. As always Russ says this may be his last trip out…. but he’s been saying that for over 5 years so lets see. For me it is very exciting, as since having my first child 4.5 years ago, and couple of years later my second, I have not been able to make it out there. But this year, I have permission from all the family to join my Dad for a week working hard in sunny India!!
Whilst there we’ll be selecting from the hundreds of one off items to find some beautiful and unique pieces that may be of interest to all our lovely customers in the UK. These pieces will then be shipped to us on various containers over the coming months.
If you have any specific requests please let us know within the next week and we can keep our eyes open for you…

THANK YOU
Firstly we’d like to say thank you to everyone who has purchased from us during our first 7 months of online selling. It has been a very exciting time for us moving from 14 years of only selling locally in our store to being able to show off and provide our stunning furniture further afield to those all over the UK. And we believe everyone is very happy with their purchases.
A couple of hiccups have occurred along the way, mainly due to couriers not handling goods as we do ourselves, but it’s all a learning curve for us and we know that you are happy with the way we dealt with any problems.
SALE UPDATE
As our products are exceptionally well priced all year round and we subsidise the cost of deliveries we will not be able to offer a ‘January Sale’ online this year. In store we will be offering a minimum of 10% discount off all furniture, with up to 50% off clearance items.
If you are able to visit us in store you will benefit greatly. In store we can still arrange nationwide delivery at cost price depending on location.
