Return To The Desert & Yonder

It’s that time of year when bags need packing, the checking of passports and visas, before we head back to magical India in search of items for the shop, while always on the look out for ‘something different’.

This time last year, Russ, Kristy and I shared a special time together in Rajasthan, in what would be our last journey all together, as little did we know what was to follow on our return. And so it was with overwhelming sadness and grief, we ‘lost’ our most dearest friend and best buddy, ‘Rusky’, while blessed that our paths joined and we were able to travel a path together.

We had such great fun, enjoying daily, each others company and now always drawing a deep, warm inner glow with memories filled and shared. Russ would often say that we were like ‘Chalk and Cheese’, (and if you knew Russ, he too loved his cheese), complimenting one another and providing balance.

Before we leave for India, a container is arriving here at the shop, (as seen on the Website ‘coming soon page’), full of items discovered and bought together during that last trip, evoking further memories.

And so to new journey’s of discovery, while very much looking forward to meeting our friends, ‘family’ and suppliers in beautiful Rajasthan.
