CHARMING BEDSIDE CABINET

This gorgeous 3-drawer cabinet exudes charm and appeal with it’s detailed hand paintings which adorn the piece. It was constructed in Jodhpur and hand painted by a family group living in a small village out of the city. A wonderful item of furniture and evocative of a culture and place resonating skilled craftsmanship that would bring much colour into the home; beautiful.

Visual Description

Further reflecting its eye-catching look are the turned feet supporting this beautifully proportioned cabinet. The overall colour is a reddy brown with a deep yellowy edging. There is an attractively decorated elephant shown on the top, tigers and antelope on the front and furthermore there are monkeys on both sides. Each drawer has a brass looking metal knob.

Uses

A perfect unique bedside unit which would alternatively work well anywhere as a feature piece.
