Originating from Jodhpur, these vintage and fabulous wooden benches have been hand made from old teak wood. These items of furniture have the added attraction and use, in that their lids lift open, therefore enabling storage options. These old school benches have a further characteristic, that are the brass ink wells that can be found in their original place.

In addition to a lifting lid, each has their original brass ink wells in situ, a wonderful piece to have remain. Above all, children from the past have scratched initials and other marking into their lids, leaving an indelible unique mark of a life past.
These benches could be used in a hallway/entrance way to put your shoes in/under or to rest on. Alternatively, you could put your household plants on the bench to display.
