Unusual Vintage Teakwood Display Shrine
This unusual display cabinet was most likely used a shrine given the nature of the piece’s composition. The top section of the the unit is a glass fronted display cabinet with a stepped shelf inside for displaying ornaments. The bottom section is comprised of an external platform with a raised border, perhaps used for incense. Below this is a deep drawer with a small metal handle. This charming cabinet is beautifully made using durable teakwood and has a natural finish that really gives this peculiar item even more character.
