CUTE PAINTED SIDE TABLES

This wonderfully colourful 1-drawer side-table, originating from Jodhpur, has been made from mango wood. With it’s unusual curved lower frame, stunning hand painted design, decorative embossed metal work, colour and brightness, this wonderful item of furniture resonates craftsmanship and style; gorgeous.

Visual Description

These pieces have a very unusual and delicate design. Each features a small drawer at the top with ring handle. Astisans have decorated the item in full, using many coloured paints, including red, blue, green yellow, to create intricate designs. They have also used embossed metal sheets to add to the overal affect and texture of the pieces.

Uses

I feel this is quite a versitile piece, working perfectly as a side table or to hold a plant or other presious possesion. Alternatively it could be used as a bedside cabinet.
