It has been made using mango wood and consists of four hand carved drawers and four panelled doors. Inside the sideboard can be found two compartment areas each with a fitted shelf. The sideboard was made in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, while the painting has been undertaken by a family of artists in a small village to the east and takes three people, three days to complete. The piece is adorned with women in their finery representative of activities in their everyday. An extraordinary unique item of furniture, expressive, eye-catching with great charm and appeal – simply stunning.
