These delightful decorative bedside units originate from Jodhpur where they have been made from mango wood and finished with beautiful and detailed hand painted drawer and door. A striking individual item of furniture and given the nature of wood, the colour (while predominantly similar), will vary slightly from piece to piece.

Visual Description

The family group of artists who live in a small village away from Jodhpur have utilised life-long and generational skills in the beautiful scenes depicted to these pieces. The body of this cabinet has been left in the natural mango wood, giving it a clean and attractive look. The door and drawer front have firstly been painted white, and then the scenes have been painted upon this, showing elephants, birds, flowers and trees, all delicately done simply gorgeous. A small bronze coloured knob handle has been fixed to the drawer and door.

Uses

A stunning bedside cabinet or ese could be used as a side cupboard within your home.
