BLUE SPINDLE CONSOLE TABLE
This exceptional blue spindle console table was made in Jodhpur and constructed from a mix of teak wood. It’s striking look is afforded with the many hand carved spindles that make up the front, sided by beautifully detailed hand carved edging. A magnificent and stand out item of furniture, reflective of Rajasthan and finished in a ‘Jodhpur’ blue.
This item has been finished all over in a lovely paleish blue colour allowing some of the natural wood to show through. The main feature of this piece is of course the shaped spindles which have been placed vertically along the whole front edge. This is a little shaping to the legs and some areas are lightly carved. The legs themselves continue round into a solid edge on both ends. The back is more open.
Such a stunning piece that would certainly stand out wherever its placed; in your dining room or other large wall ed area that needs brightening up.
This item is in stock in our furniture shop in Brighton and Hove, Sussex.
