This extraordinary, tall hand painted cabinet was newly made in south Jodhpur from native mango wood. The exceptional quality of the hand painting is breathtaking, depicting multiple different scenes. The cabinet’s doors each have four panels with individual figures and backgrounds, while each side has two larger figures and further Sanskrit – simply stunning. Inside the cabinet are three fitted shelves, aiding storage, while this piece certainly brings skilled craftsmanship, culture, place and a flavour of Rajasthan; breathtakingly beautiful.
