This absolutely gorgeous book cupboard originates from Nashik, in the state of Maharashtra where it has spent it’s life in a public library, housing books – evocative of learning and study, of stories and place. Made from old teak, with a wonderful aged patina, this fabulous vintage items striking look is further enhanced with the original lettering and stylish handles, of it’s time. Inside can be found three fitted shelves, while this item could be utilised in many parts of the home and quite possibly my favourite item we discovered and sourced on our most recent trip to Rajasthan. A much travelled and ‘lived’ item of furniture; stunning.
