WOODEN PARAT BOWL

This gorgeous and characterful vintage wooden Parat Bowl originate’s from out in the Thar desert of Rajasthan. Both tactile and original these wonderful old bowls have been individually hand carved from old teak wood and where you can feel the carvers marks and aged repairs. Originally used to mix ingredients in for making breads and alike, these bowls evoke the everyday and rhythm to life in India and could continue to be used for this purpose or possibly as a fruit bowl.

Made in India.
